About
Itai Raziel is a cinematographer, director and documentary filmmaker, a graduate of the Film and Television School at Tel Aviv University (1999). With over 25 years of experience in the Israeli television and film industry, he has shot dozens of films, documentary series, television programs, commercials and music videos.
Itai works with Israel's leading documentary directors — Tomer & Barak Heymann, David Ofek, Neta Shoshani, Naftali Glicksberg, Yaron Zilberman, Avida Livni, Ran Landau, Mor Lushi and others.
The Curator's Choice award was presented to Itai for a video work he created for the "Local Testimony" competition (2020). For his cinematography on Tomer Heymann's I Am Not, he received the Best Cinematography award (alongside the film's subject, Oren) at DocAviv 2022. For Paper Dolls, he was awarded the Best Cinematographer prize by the Documentary Creators Forum and the Golden Lens Award by the Film & Television Workers Union.
